Communities of Interest

For Erik Zimmerman, the company's focus has always been to give back to the community. After all, it was the principles of community and affinity that the company was founded on. Since our creation in 2007, we have always employed a company policy to donate 1% of our profits to community projects.

Thanks to this policy and our community focussed approach, we are regularly able to provide free solar systems to sporting clubs and community groups based on their involvement. In fact, if you'd like to establish your sporting club or community group as a solar supporter, we'd love to talk to you!

Some of our community projects include supplying free solar installations to the Half Moon Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, Brighton Scout Hall, and Swan Hill Community Centre

In March 2009, we conducted our very first international community aid project. Thanks to the generosity of numerous organisations, the Tumaini Miles of Smiles Centre in Western Kenya was supplied with a  solar power system to deliver power to the centre as well as donated goods for the children. Our next mission will be to bring renewable energy to the Sunrise Orphanage in Cambodia.
